Not that I'm an expert at this but I do know the brain cannot process the word 'no'. So even if I saw it in the fridge and said 'nope, nada' I'd still only see cake. If not a lock box, maybe a non-clear container for the days you may be less resilient. But that's me. You probably have it all down pat.

oh no, I can totally relate and I feel got you. I have a food radar. even if you can't see it, 👀👀 I know 24/7 where that cake is and would be possessed by it constantly. maybe she can store it in her stomach. 😂 good luck

I have a friend who keeps his stash in a timer kitchen safe. It counts down until it unlocks...

FullaBella My brain said no, but my arm did not listen. So I blamed my arm for awhile. Naughty arm. 😜

srossca I tried that. One day she said that she cannot make these cakes anymore, as they disappear too quick. She had an egg with her coffee that morning. Yay, it made me feel victorious. Didn't last long, as the next day she made a new cake. Even thought about finding a GF exchange program. Wouldn't mind to exchange mine with one that cannot make cake 😜. Silly ideas in an attempt to find a solution to a problem. On reflection I believe I'm just dealing with a need for more B vitamins. Will fix that this weekend.

In the Bible is says to cut off the sinful appendage. Ask to her make mug cakes instead. Perfect portions for one with no leftovers.

jenjabba I ended up hiding the cake in my stomach. Out of sight, but not out of mind, as it made me feel like a victim. It's taken me a long time to build resistance, and I believe I got the defence in place. Found a lot of negative effects from this load of grains combined with fat. Celebrate today feeling clean. Lack of B vitamins can bring on a need to fix it by a carb 'pick-up' Will up my liver to fix that.

This is key for flexible dieting. You get better the more you practice, I had one donut and the rest of the dozen are right behind me. I may have another later, maybe not.

How about asking her to stop sabotaging you and either stop making the cakes, or have her eat her small piece and take the rest to work with her or it goes down the GD, and don’t lie about it!

moopie321 I suggested mug cakes to her many times. She tried it two mornings, and fell back to making big cakes after. Building defence in my mind have become what seems easiest, after dealing with this problem a good while. Hoping it is the last mind-tweaking exercise on this rather challenging maintenance agenda.

Diablo360x Grains and sugars sit very poorly in my body. They shuts down the clean feeling body and mind. This is something I did not know before I ran several months without these foods.

Good for you! That's a very rewarding victory. 👍

cejdebs3 Appreciate your suggestions. Not an option unfortunately, as she doesn't go to work. Building a defence in my mind was the last option. Not easy, but doable. Have had to go back to what I learned a long time ago to make it all fresh in my mind. It's working, and the resistance is strong again. Ahhh a relief.

It's always best to do the adjusting yourself, instead of relying on others to make the changes for you. Only my opinion. 😊

Becc@ Thank you. We have a very dark and grey morning with rain, but inside I feel sunshine. Love feeling clean, and strong again. Unreal how the wrong kind of food can put a damper on quality of life.
