Hmm did that snack sized Hershey bar add that pound?? I swear in the last 2 years I can gain weight by just seeing or thinking of chocolate and desserts. And I only had 1021 calories yesterday :/. This is why I told myself I wouldn’t weigh daily lol.

Thanks! I have surgery on 4/25 and I’m trying to lose as much as I can first because they said I’ll probably be limited to 3 sessions if 10 minutes of moderate walking daily for a few weeks and I heavy exercise for 2 months. It could change but that’s the general recommendation. Oh and I’ll need a good full calorie diet for 4-8 weeks to help the fat transfer ‘stick’. I had planned on surgery at the end of summer but they want to do it now so if I need another we can do it at the end of summer :/. I’ll gsin it back mostly if it’s true on the diet BUT if I lose more now I’m hoping to keep some off with my new healthier choices. But I always eat carbs and chocolate after surgeries. No clue why but I do. Surgeon said my body needs the carb energy afterward so that explains the carbs but not the chocolate.

You could have still lost weight but it shows the gain due to water retention, so don’t worry about it 👍🏻

Thanks guys! I need to drink more water but I honestly dislike it and 0 calorie waters flavors leave a bad taste in my mouth afterward. When it hits 80 degrees I’ll drink more without thinking about it but for now I have to make myself drink it and it’s easier to grab coffee from the pot, a Coke Zero or a G/2 Gatorade. My teeth hate cold so I’m stuck with room temp water(yuck) or my teeth hurting. Maybe I should have some milk as I’m lactose intolerant and see if that helps haha. I may have found the pound but I know I’ll lose it again soon :). I’ll worry when I gain 2 in a week rather than 1 in a day :).

Y'all we are all so fortunate, we have so many choices, some people do not. Enjoy...a little here and there is okay. I love water at room temperature, it actually absorbs in our body quicker.

We are quite lucky with all of the choices we have! If I personally had less choices I’d learn not to be so picky or lose more weight haha. I honestly wish stores would move candy and junk food away from the registers. I tend to buy something from there every trip so would appreciate some bananas or apples lol. I’ve instead started buying sugar free gum. I feel like I’m grabbing a treat for later and it’s own the kids like too and lasts days instead of a few minutes like a snickers. That being said, I ate a snickers for lunch :,(. I’ve had one laying here for a month and decided I could have a treat if I worked out later. Only calories I’ve had so far today as I’m just not that hungry but my sweet tooth wants more.

@Dinah57 I’ve thought about running just water through my coffee pot after cleaning it. I find that I enjoy coffee with my meals and I’ve never liked it before. The heat makes me feel more satisfied and I read somewhere that hot drinks with meals actually help you lose a small amount of weight. Keeping the fat from congealing in the stomach perhaps? As of now I don’t drink water unless outside exercising so I need to figure out a way I can drink it without gagging! Dislike all of the fake sugar flavorings and most of those make me gag too. Thought I’d add a Splenda and see if that helps lol. As a kid I’d add a couple of skittles or a jolly rancher. Somehow I don’t think that’s very healthy!
