Hi everyone I am 51 years of age and live in wales. I like to exercise 5 days a week for around 40 minutes a session. Most of my session are based around interval training and spartacus type based routines, i.e. tabatta's. I train at home and I use sandbags,kettlebells and bodyweight exercises. My goal is to lose a few pound and tone up. Nice to meet you all. Nick

Hello Nick and Welcome to FS! Sounds like you have a good excercise routine going, I am still working on mine. So I know what you do with kettle balls but what you do with sandbags?
Where is Wales do you live? I loved my vacation in Wales, beautiful place. We stayed a week in St. Davids, and it was amazing. One day we'll go back and see it again.

Hi Rubie nice to meet you too, I live in south wales a place called merthyr tydfil. with the sandbags I tend to do a circuit type training, I choose 5 exercises and do them back to back so in total doing around 60 reps then rest for 30 secs then repeat for a further 2 cycles. the workout is very brief but very effective for burning fat. the sandbag i use is around 80lbs.
