WendyMaq's Journal, 25 Jan 18

Have another appointment today. Finally had some abnormal blood tests come in. Will discuss, but I suspect he will just tell me it's nothing. In the meantime, I keep reading about anti-inflammation diets and various foodstuffs which could contribute to various disorders. I have suffered from hidradentis suppuritiva since I was a child. I also have psoriasis and a whole host of other issues which are definitely chronic inflammation and seem to point to auto-immune. This small study points to yeast and wheat as being a cause. When I meet with the nutritionist next month, I will be sure to site this study. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23891479 I never realized how diet can affect everything! Probably because we are conditioned to think of diet as deprivation and only fat people diet. Skinny people suffer from these issues, too! So... I feel like I am really getting my head in a place where I can do this and finally stick with it. Still working on the hubby, though. I keep talking about these things, then he'll go make a meal that includes all the inflammatory foods. LOL! Buddy, that's the exact opposite of what were trying to do here. <3 It's frustrating, but I'm in a good place today so I can laugh about it. I hope the sun is shining wherever you are. It has made an appearance here in Vermont, so I'm going to make like a cat and plant myself in a sunbeam.
