Week 2...loss weight but have learned a really important aspect of dieting. DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT weigh yourself every day. I do this and am about to stop doing this. It can be a BUZZ kill. I have been going down everyday and the last two days the scale went up 1 pound. Now my logical mind is saying, DUH the body flunctuates depending on whats going on and its not that DEEP, but my dieting mind is FREAKING OUT! So, after googling and reading other people's struggle with weighing themselves everyday, I have come to realize that doing this is a shot in the foot really. Doing it once a week will give me to motivation I need to move forward. This is hard to do, I mean there are friggin 7 days in a week which is FOREVER to me. So maybe I will start with a weigh in every 3 days or something until I get to that confident spot. Oh help me...nonetheless, this morning the scale said 376.8, so atleast it did not say my starting point of 390.2 or there would be a serious problem arising.....

I once read a study that a group of people who weighed themselves every day ended up losing more weight than a group who did not. But I'm with you - it's to much pressure! It's tough, but stick with it! Congrats on your first 10+ pounds!
