Thanks everyone :) While it shouldn't have taken me this long to get this frustrated with my backslide, I think I've got it now. @rhontique - Pebble is another fitness tracker like Jawbone or Fitbit, but seems to be a smarter functional design (to me, anyway) as its physically built like a wristwatch, so the on-board computer can be swapped out from the band by simple pin removal, rather than being strapped permanently in like the Fitbit Charge.
