Haven't read Obesity Code...Dr. Jason Fung I believe, but do have Carb Nite by John Kiefer, which is a good read, easily understood.

I watched Dr. Fung's "Eaetiology of Obesity" series lectures 1 and 2 (of 6) last night. They're long and somewhat technical but he's easy to listen to and understand.
