BuffyBear's Journal, 26 Nov 11

All in all we had a lovely Thanksgiving with lots good company and healthy foods. But after 3 days of "off" eating I'm not surprised I gained 2 pounds.

Will be busy again today but will take some time to get back on track. Seems too early to be decorating for Christmas but it is the 26th already!

Buffy you will lose that, off with the weight........I won't weigh for the next few days hope to stay the same, but if not won't be down. Bit early for me yet to decorate but lots of our neighbours have Christmas lights up already. But the weather is great for doing it this weekend.

GG - Yours will be gone by the time you do one lap in the pool!

Yvonne - I may not be in the mood to do it now, but once it is done I don't have to stress about it.

Don't sweat the small gain, it'll be gone quickly. Several people in the park are starting to decorate, and those that have golf carts are starting to decorate them also... really fun.

Buffy, you're not alone. But even with a small gain, I suspect you're doing much better than after previous holidays, so give yourself some credit for that. These things will happen from time to time....the challenge now is how well we can get back into the swing of things and right our ships!

Notfast - I'm going to spend the rest of the day with a vision of decorated golf carts!

Sandy - you are correct - usually Thanksgiving isn't over for me until all the leftovers are gone. This year that is DH's job.

That is good - you did not gain much, one time I gained six pounds after Thanksgiving, this time no gain; but I must get more exercise in and cut calories and eat limited amounts of filling foods like eggs, lean meat, etc.

Hey BuffyBear.. I gained a lb and a half... but who is counting? LOL! I have a dear friend in Oregon, who loves Christmas and she had her family decorating the whole house yesterday. It's finished... tree and all! I don't think I am ready for Christmas yet. I am like you... when there are Thanksgiving leftovers sitting around, it's hard to think of putting up our Christmas tree. Now, if I had a golf cart... oh what fun I would have with that! LOL!
