When you go for a ski weekend, you want to think that you're burning more calories than you are. We skied 30,000+ vertical feet - 26+ miles per day....

and I still gained..

Well, I did eat because a. I was hungry and b. I thought with those kind of numbers, I didn't have to worry.

I used to ski a lot, Mammoth, Breckenridge, Park City, Aspen etc. basically everything in Colorado, Utah, and California. Where was this?
