weight at annual physical today. Discussed things with the doctor. Blood sugar is up, not yet prediabetic but close. Good talk with the doctor
It's been so cold I haven't gotten out to walk.
I bought some apples and got a free pie for have a Community Share at the local farm last year. I ate a piece and froze the rest. Doctor says I should just toss those things. We'll see.
I have a list of various things that I have frozen, so I will work through those. Trying to not buy much food, although the apples made sense because I went to the store right after the physical.
Working on getting healthier, however slowly

I hate tossing food. I would work that food in some how. Does your doctor never eat treats? None of the ones I worked with ate perfectly.

Sounds like my doctor! I did manage to keep a huge Costco apple pie in the freezer during the holidays and would have a piece about once a week. Sometimes a big piece. But it lasted over a month

Oh my pie. As a diabetic I can't. I can't have pies or cakes 😂near me. I'm not the type to only get a slice. I'd eat the whole thing. All or nothing. So I don't go near them. I go in the deli or grocery store and pick them up look at them...read the ingredients. Until I learn moderate I just can't them. I put them back. Cookies are the same. Sweets are challenging for me.
