I must admit I wasn't really expecting to see any weight loss nor was I planing on weighing in this soon. My curiosity got the best of me though and I was pleasantly surprised. It's encouraging! I was starting to get bummed out by the sameness of all of my meals and thinking I wasn't losing anything anyway was making it harder and harder. Seeing so much of a change in such a short time really helps to refortify my resolve. It also helps that my sweet hubby bought me lunch today. While it stayed within my guidelines it was different from what I'd been eating so now my taste buds are happy too. All and all this is shaping up to be a good day! Happy journey everyone.

Boss Hog, I'm of the personal belief that a little break every now and then is actually a good thing; as long as you can keep it as a break. I'm sure you will find new resolve when your vacation is over and will be happier in the mix. Good luck and good journey!
