Swayneman's Journal, 19 Jun 23

Got my lab results back last week. To give a little back story, I avoided the doctor for years. Had my first appointment 4 months ago and they told me all of my health issues and it freaked me out which ultimately started my diet and fitnesss journey, including officially joining the FS community.

As of present day, Cholesterol is still a little high. Blood pressure is normal (hasn't been normal in years) and my sugar level went from 6.5 to 5.8 so I'm no longer in the pre-diabetic range. This is just the beginning of my lifestyle journey. I'm happy with my progress so far, just going to keep grinding. Thank you all for your continued support.

I found that a WFPB- diet ( As detailed in the Forks over knives documentary) fixed all those issues.Evidence also suggests it helps prevent cancer

Thank you OTB. I was a little stressed at first but now I feel much better mentally and physically. Definitely a wake up call that was needed.

Awesome & inspiring to hear "sugar level went from 6.5 to 5.8 so I'm no longer in the pre-diabetic range" .... however you're still a 'sweet' person - correct? hahaha

Excellent Work Swayneman. I am in a similar boat, on BP meds and working to get rid of them plus pre-diabetic. Spending my lunch hours walking and plan to add kettlebell workouts and bodyweight exercises.

Have you tried intermittent fasting? 16/8 fast. Worked wonders for me. Research it on YouTube

Your story is similar to mine except i was so exhausted all the time i just noted that i was pre-diabetic. Did not know i had high blood pressure till having surgery and thought it was anxiety but nope, legit high bp. I figured i was going to have a shorter life…not depression just how i felt. Bp is normal, pre diabetes is gone and normal and i feel so much better and healthier and happier. Im so happy for you that your health is returning. You must be feeling wonderful!!! Congratulations sincerely💕

SM, lowering your A1C to normal range is a huge victory! Well done!!! 🎉 In my opinion, those types of achievements are far more important than the number on the scale. Keep up the excellent work.
