5/28 Fasting blood sugar 6.2 mmol/L

For some reason I thought my blood sugar was going to be higher this morning because I had a white potato with dinner last night. Some things you wonder and ponder but will never get the answer you are seeking. Yup, think this is one of those moments...lol.

Today & in spite of my damn shoulder, I am going to head out to the Gluten Free Garage (who is turning 10 this year) being held at the Wychwood Barns here in Toronto. Tickets are $15 at door/free for kids 12 & under. (https://glutenfreegarage.ca/)

I've taken a look through the sponsors & vendors online and noticed that some of them are also keto in nature. Gluten free & keto works for me...lol. But I know this will be a sample food stuff day regardless. Let's hope with all the walking I do with my rollator helps to kill off some of the "real sugar" I will be ingesting. I'm guessing tomorrow morning will be the real test as to how well my body dealt with it. But I am also bringing my glucose meter as a just in case.

I don't travel outside of Ontario usually but definitely not outside of Canada & what I really would like to see is a Keto show being done here in Toronto like they do in the states (KetoCon I think is what it's called). I think Canada North needs their own version of that but not sure who to even ask if it could be possible.

But even with this, I can showcase a few things tomorrow or over the next couple of days for everyone to see what is "new" out there in the gluten-free world. Some of it may be new to you while other things may not be new. But sharing is caring and that's all that matters in my books.
