Lisa Online's Journal, 20 Jun 11

As soon as I decided to get up off of my rear and take my daughters urging to jump in the lake great fun began to happen. I thought I did well eating while camping during Fathers Day weekend but the scale is letting me know otherwise. Yikes!!! I am realizing that planning is necessary for days when routine is out of sequence which happens many days during the summer months. I must admit I am getting scared that "I don't have what it takes to do this well" With this said I salute all of you who are loosing and maintaining and salute others such as myself who are hanging in there and praying that we will soon find our way because it isn't about the number but about how we feel and the choices we make. TOWANDA!!!!

Posted from a buddy's journal:
"Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead." ~Louisa May Alcott

Sometimes our dreams seem out of reach, but never give up. Just because you cannot touch the sun does not mean you cannot touch its rays and feel its warmth and light. Any part or stage of reaching a goal is success! Today is a new day, feel the glow, get renewed in the light and take that next step towards your path! Happy Monday!!

Love, Jenny xoxo

Lisa - Now you know you have what it takes to do this. We just learn from our mistakes and move on! Planning is hard but it is doable. I'm thinking I need to start freezing some Low-Carb emergency meals. Think what will work best for you.

Ah, this is just what I needed to hear! It seems like progress is never going to happen, but it is...just slowly. Each hurdle I get over may feel like hell to make myself do, but it will help in the end. Thank you for the quote ^_^

Lisa, thank you again for sharing your (and your buddies) inspiring thoughts. You do not need to fear for your ability to accomplish your goals to be a healthier you. You have within you all that you need to accomplish what you desire. I do think you're right, some planning could yield more beneficial results. Have a good night, my friend. I'm sending you lots of love and a bouquet of hugs!

Oh, thank you Lisa for the post and love the quote! I figure with the warmer weather they'll be times I won't be "on target" but still on the path and the view is beautiful! ♥Love n hugs♥

Lisa the quote is amazing and so are you. You never fail to motivate me. I am getting back in the swing of things and so will you. We have been at it too long to give up now. I am trying to look at this upward trend as a gentle reminder of what I have to do and I am trying to do it. It just seems like life has been busy lately and although I have been exercising I have not been saying no as much as I should. Today will be a good test for me as it is salad bar Tuesday at work and for some reason they are bringing different kinds of pasta too and carrot cake. I will behave....at least I hope I will. Have a great Tuesday buddy.

Discipline is never easy, that's all I can say. What you have to remember is that the goal is worthwhile. It just takes time to get there.
