Yep, maintenance is just as hard. Which is why it's funny when people criticize someone for going to the gym or dieting "when you're already in shape.". Fitness is borrowed. You got this!

Diablo, the statement you made, I’m hearing that a lot. I always tell them well, I want to stay in shape, and I will be doing that by exercising and eating well. Not doing those got me where I was n the first place out of shape and feeling gross!

Agree w that Diablo - and being a little too confident in maintenance (as I was) gets you in trouble. Just need to make changes that are slow and steady.

Diablo great way to say it! Maintenance and being consistent with workouts is key!

Thanks guys. Not only do people not realize you can't just coast once you get to your goal, but you also don't get the same recognition as someone who is currently losing or gaining weight when maintaining which can make it difficult to remain motivated/disciplined. That's where flex Fridays can come in to save the day lol. Transformation Tuesdays as well.

Maintenance is only hard if you take your hands off the wheel and say "Look Ma, no hands!!“. Your WOE needs to be long-term. Good news is @breco, is that you‘re monitoring it and making small adjustments early. 👍👍

Agree 100% with sk.17. Maintenance is simply continuing on with your diet/WOE. It’s only hard if your mindset was “I can’t wait till I get to maintenance so that I can eat more/my old food again!”

Maintaining is always difficult for me. Lose now...holidays are coming and you want a little wiggle room, right?

Amazing how quickly that can happen! But, I know you've got this. I've been off plan while away, dreading getting back on the scale.

I'm sure it's frustrating, but you've learned what you need to do to make a course correction. You'll get it back on track 🙂

Well, for me, over the decades, I have been known to lose a lot and gain it all back (with 20 friend pounds joining in for fun) I am addicted to food! I love food and snacks and EVERYTHING! My "way of eating" will have to be a lifelong journey. I understand that now. And so do you! You GOT this!! 💪 💯 🌎 🫶 ☘️
