Alnona's Journal, 04 Nov 22

Hi folks😁 I missed you all. Just like everyone, life has been rough. I let my addictions creep back into my life...food & gambling...constant depression & disappointment. I got up this morning(5am😳) & was out of breath just rolling over and getting out of bed. I promptly went downstairs & threw out all the craps out of the house. Exercise starts tomorrow.

I listened to a podcast yesterday: “Instead of punishing yourself for a set back. Reward yourself with the acknowledgment that you are ready to move and eat for your health” Rewards help us reach our goals so much more than “punishment”.

Best wishes on your new start. Addictions are nothing to be taken lightly. I, too, am addicted to food, and it is a constant battle, because you can't just stop eating altogether.

I can identify too well. I am 69 and still struggle with using food as fuel and not for fun and entertainment. Still dragging around the same 84 pound for the 10th year. Blessings to you in your journey...and I like what WendyLynn71 said....
