Sandy701's Journal, 13 Jun 11

Another hot week ahead. Started off today walking 3.3 miles along a lake route. DH had taken the doggies, so I made it a point to FINALLY go out and accurately measure that route I've been meaning to for so long.

Took Ruby's advice and actually stretched a bit before I began and paid special attention to the areas where I've been sore lately.

Over the weekend, I did not walk on Saturday and Sunday. I did the lawn, with all its assorted trimming and edging on Saturday and considered that my exercise for the day. Sunday was a day off from exercise. On both days, I allowed myself peanuts and even almond butter on Sunday (perhaps NOT the best choices...).

Just for today....no nut butters (oops!) or peanuts.

FOCUS....would very much like to hit 165 by Wednesday, 6/15. It's just a psychological thing. I've been ever so close for several days now, so it's probably just a matter of time.

Focus....weight loss requires an active participant. Pounds don't magically come off.
75.3 kg Lost so far: 31.3 kg.    Still to go: 9.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Hi Sandy! You would like to see 165, I would like to see 159.9 (or so), we are sooo darn close! Yes, you are so right, it is just a matter of time as long as we stick with the Plan that is! We can do it, I know we can. Just for today is the way!

You can do it~ I am glad that you rested your muscles that were sore. Take care of yourself!! I can't wait to get into the 160's. In my adult life (21+) I have never weighed less than 165. It will be quite a milestone for me. I can NEVER remember weighing less than 150!

GG-Girl, yes, we are definitely going to hit those milestones - and then some!! I'll have to check on your journal to see how you've weathered the weekend....

Lisa, you're less than 2 little pounds away from the 160's, so you'll be there before you know it! Unfortunately, I DO remember weighing less than where I am as an adult (but not for over 20 years!) so I know I've got a ways to go. Nothing to do but keep pluggin' away, right?
