Avg. for the past 7 weigh-ins. I think it's honest to say I am indifferent about doing what I should be doing to lose weight. I am not committed (obviously). I don't care to come up with strategies or plan anything out ahead of time. When I do think about putting any energy into working out a plan, I don't want to bother. It sure does sound like I have given up, although I tell myself I haven't and it doesn't feel like I have. I may be just in denial. What is different this time about not succeeding, is that I don't feel bad or like a failure. Not real sure what's going on, but maybe there are other lessons to learn, before I can finally figure out the self-care issue. If this comes across as negative, I don't mean it to be, just putting my thoughts on here. Still pondering. ❤️

Becca, in my opinion you look beautiful and healthy, and maintaining a steady weight is healthier than bouncing around, regardless. I am reading a book called "Good Food, Bad Diets" and she makes the point early on that having a happy, full and rewarding life is way more important and healthy than constantly fighting to take off 15 or 20 pounds. So you tell me, friend, who's winning this thing called life more than you??? Said with much love 💕💕💕💕 and admiration.

DIETS DON’T WORK. Subtle changes in your daily habits, portion control and moderation does. Deprivation does not work. Guilt does not work. Nothing will work till you want it enough to make the decision

I feel like we all lose our way forward from time to time. it just takes a moment to recognize it and get back on track. the fact that you realize it and know what you need to do, even if you're not quite there yet will help.

That is how i lived for decades...so i know how you feel. I never expected from another person to understand. If you do not live with it it's impossible to understand.

I feel your wandering spirit. Mine is wandering in the same forest of missing focus. Not gaining just wandering in the same undecided weight range. We'll get it sorted out and refocus in time. Just a frustrating place to be right now. Prayers for Focus on a Plan!
