I'm loving my new challenges: Exercise with your check: Twice a day (check!). Twenty carbs or less a day: It's now a no-brainer (check!). 10KG in 10 weeks...eeek, that remains to be seen, but I'm on track and no slips in sight makes me hopeful.

My ketosis is waning. I did a blood monitor test for my levels today. I should be between 0.5 and 3.0. This morning I was at 0.1 for no good reason at all. I haven't cheated, my net carbs were at less than 8g yesterday, and I've been exercising. The other day I was at 0.5 and I was so happy, but then it went to 0.4 and now 0.1. Kind of pissed off, but hanging in there.

Gave up all diet sodas, no artificial sweeteners. No hidden carbs whatsoever. Reading all labels so carefully. No explanation whatsoever, except that the Nova Blood Monitor I use reads about .5 lover than the Precision that the experts like better. Still, even if I was at .6 (adding back the .5 to the .1), I should be at 2.0 with the amount of fat I'm eating. 65-76% fat and <10g carbs daily should have me at a nice high ketone level without question!

I can only think that my pre-diabetes is playing havoc with my blood sugar levels and keeping my body's ability to burn fat efficiently at a true minimum. Counting the hours until I see the doctor Thursday. This week can't go fast enough for my 3PM appointment with him!
88.5 kg Lost so far: 38.6 kg.    Still to go: 20.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
