jmb3450's Journal, 05 Sep 14

This week I was able to drop the carb induced gain from last weekend in Buffalo and get to a new low. I'm tired of the 220's and want to get past them into the 2teens. There are no special events, plans or travel for this weekend which makes it easier to stay on track.

I've had a lot of stuff going on the past couple weeks, nothing too terrible, just life as it sometimes happens. But as a result there were some times I didn't keep up with my food log, didn't eat as well as I could have, and haven't been online as much. Good news is I didn't go overboard and jump ship, but we all know how important it is to log everything consistently. I'm finding good results with having a few days a week around 1300 calories and am able to do it without any real hunger. It helps compensate for any extra calories from a dinner out or that type of thing...so that's the continued plan for now.

Still having trouble with my back, seems to be centered in the rear ribs on the right side which is odd. My fall in December broke the ribs on the left rear side and fractured my lower spine, so the right side bothering so much is a mystery. But it's been slowly getting a little better, that makes exercise and just getting through the end of the day more tolerable.

Hope everyone is doing well. Doing the happy dance here 'cause it's Friday, end of a very hectic week. Have a good one. :)

Thanks guys. I probably made it sound worse than it is now, my back is feeling better from what it was and hopefully will continue. And no matter what, it could always be worse. I'm thankful to have the problems that I do, I know a number of people with problems a lot worse than mine.

JMB, sometimes an injury to one side of the body will cause us to favor it, putting a bit more strain on the other side. Then we get pain on the other side due to over use.
