I'm having scale drama again. I just bought the scale about 3 or 4 months ago. I hate to have to look for a new one but I may. A couple times I've stepped on it and it has shown a 15 pound difference from the day before. This morning I figured I would be down a little and I got numbers from up 1.5 to down 1.2. I finally put the weight that came up the most often and was in line with what makes sense. This scale keeps track of the last weight for 2 people and then lets you know if you've lost or gained since last time. Maybe I don't need a scale that has any other capabilities than just showing the current weight. It's keeping track of too many numbers. Another rant about the scale! As long as the doctor's scale shows a loss for the month I'll feel okay.

I find that most scales are erratic unless you spring for a balance scale. I would it I had the room for one.

Morticia - is that the scale they have in the doctor's office? That is too big for my house. I guess it really isn't that big of a deal. I think the scales all seem to "remember" your last weight. When I get the really low weights, usually 15-20 pounds less than what I weight I think it has something to do with my cats' weights. They sometimes lay on the scale and I've seen a weight for 2 of my cats. It's like the scale subtracts their weight from mine. Crazy. I will probably just continue to deal with this scale. As long as I'm losing I guess I can just count on the doctor's scale.

What you said about the cats’ weight sounds like it calculated a net or gross weight. You would need to turn it off (or remove batteries) after getting the cats off, if that’s the case. Otherwise, probably the batteries getting too weak for the circuitry.

I use a renpho smart scale, it only records data if you have the app open so the scale can connect, other wise it's just a normal scale.
