GUESS WHAT?????? 169.6!!!!!!!!!! I'm officially in the 160s!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Thanks for the support everybody! It feels pretty great, now onto my new goal of 160 by September :)

In other news, I was busting last night and hurt my knee so my dreams of 15 total pounds by vacation is going to be harder now since I refuse to workout on it. I hurt my knee pretty badly in high school and I know it needs to rest, so I am diet-dependent now to lose anything. Which is fine, I could use a rest anyway :)

Our 24-day weight loss challenge is officially over as of last night. I lost a total of 12.4 lbs and 7 3/4 inches. I am in second place out of 11 people woohoo! The girl who won lost the same amount of weight but doubled my inches, she's kinda shady so I don't know that I believe her BUT I can't exactly tell her I think she's lying either. It just seems very curious, same weight but doubled inches? She's the one that said she ate a funnel cake, I'm sure you get my drift here. Anywhoo, I promise I'm not being a sore loser cause I did just as amazingly, it just seems slightly impossible to me....

Oh well, it is HUMP DAY, so happy Wednesday to you all!!! 3 days to vacay! (yes I'm going to post everyday til then cause I'm annoying!)
76.9 kg Lost so far: 7.0 kg.    Still to go: 6.6 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.

I'll let you in on a little secret few trainers will admit: According to all of my nutrition/exercise physiology textbooks, 80% of weight loss is what you put in your mouth. Only 20% is a combination of what you do in the gym and genetics. Don't feel too bad if you're not jumping around like a bunny rabbit for a while. Don't get me wrong, exercise can accelerate weight loss and is VITAL in KEEPING the weight off, and essential for one's overall health. I wouldn't sweat it (sorry for the pun) about not being able to run a marathon right now. You'll be fine! Just watch out for those rogue bean burritos!

I just screamed for you!!!! Congratulations!!! <balloons dropping> <party poppers popping> <streamers flying> Yay! [fist pump!]. On another note, that girl is probably throwing some shade or she was really out of shape and fluffy to begin with. Either way, that challenge was a catalyst for your incredible weight loss. It wasn't the entire journey. You are still on your journey and I am so PROUD of you. I hope the knee feels better soon!

I quote what Sweet2th said "I'll let you in on a little secret few trainers will admit: According to all of my nutrition/exercise physiology textbooks, 80% of weight loss is what you put in your mouth. Only 20% is a combination of what you do in the gym and genetics"- and this is very true for both weight loss and building muscle, 80% of everything with your body happens in the kitchen, if you just look at all the fitness people in the world, 1 hour mainly of their day in the gym, the rest is food and kitchen work. Well done on your progress sofar, it is great to someone succeeding and reaching their goals
