Okay, weird new scale, do what you want. No prune action yesterday, yet I lost a ton of water weight for no good reason. I'm thinking I lost maybe .5 pounds of fat, and along with it came 2 pounds of water weight because I peed like a racehorse (sorry for the visual!). That must be the baggage that was being carried by the glycogen I was storing my muscles because it just WENT like magic. Not that time of month, no water pills, no decrease in salt, no diuretic food, no logical explanation whatsoever.

However, I did have an early dinner Saturday, a very light breakfast Sunday and then a crazy 3 hour workout at the gym (so some sweat?) that included weight training and cardio which could have taxed my system into tapping into reserves that finally jump started...I don't know...something. I pounded about 48 ounces of fluids during that time, so that was good. And then for the rest of the day, even after eating returned to normal, I just kept purging fluids, and I thought, "Well, my weigh in could be really good tomorrow!"

It's funny how I went for 7 days weighing in at 205 every day eating 1100-1300/day working out 5 days out of 7, then like magic, bang, 2.5 pounds overnight. I know it's not REALLY 2.5 pounds overnight, but still, something happened. 202.5. Woo hoo!

I've said on here so many times before that I wish weight loss could be steady and predictable like a bank savings account where you put in a dollar a day and watch your savings (weight loss) add up steadily and predictably. But NOOOOO. You go a week doing everything right and then go on a savings spree. Stupid and crazy! But I'll take it.

Laying down in the supine position in a cold or very cool room can get you peeing too. Especially if your feet are also cool. I run into that at night sometimes because my husband has sleep apnea and requires a very cool room. Sometimes I'm up and down peeing so much that I have to put socks on to warm my feet up and stop peeing. Then I deal with rebound retention.
