Slept 4hrs last night.

Busy day. I had to go to the city for Dr. Appointment. I went to Bulk Barn for the first time and bought lots of items that I have never eaten before, like nutritional yeast & hemp hearts. I ate lunch in car at Wendy's drive-thru. Delicious chicken & avocado salad. Then, after all the other shopping chores, my last stop was Costco, where I bought protein powder for the first time, and also a rotisserie chicken & pickled asparagus. Drove home, unloaded groceries, and fell asleep for 3 hours. When I woke up at 9pm I had a yummy late supper, of rotisserie chicken sandwich with asparagus and cucumber.

I also had some really good news today. I had an early morning appointment with an orthopedic surgeon, to schedule the first of 2 total knee replacements. After seeing the exponential improvement that I have made with just 2 months of physiotherapy, he now wants to delay the surgery date and instead see me again in 6 months to see if I have made even more progress with both weigh-loss and muscle strength.

Physiotherapy has reduced my severe pain, and increased my balance, strength, and degree of bend of my knees. It has also regained synovial fluids in my knees, which are bone-on-bone. He said that I can never regain the lost cartilage, but he said with continued weight loss in combination of continued exercise, I may reduce the pain to the point where I can have a good quality of life, without having knee replacements done.😀

Yes I am feeling very good. Also my weight is dropping a wee bit faster this week.
