From your post, it sounds like we are on the same path. I’m now at 216 - lowest I’ve been since meeting my (now) husband who loves to cook! 😂 I was close to breaking the 200 lb mark and then happily munched my way to 250! Hoping to someday see 175! Slow and steady! Still don’t understand macros but… 💚🍀

That's the spirit. You're obviously doing something well, so there should be less crying going forward. Itishgalwnc, maybe talk to a nutritionist who can explain macros to you. People here say they are sometimes covered by health insurances.

I am just counting calories and no exercise at this point. I started this on August 27th this year. And the first 2 weeks I lost 4lbs each week eating 1200-1300 calories a day and one day eating 1900-2000. Then I thought if I ate few calories and didn’t have a splurge day that I would lose more. So I started eating 700-900 calories a day.. And stopped losing. Now I am back to my original way. Plus I can live life eating within that much calories.

I've seen several posts of people eating minimal amounts, yet not losing anything, and I'm always baffled by that. All I can think of is that at low cals, the body thinks it's "going broke" and tries to save everything, but I've no idea really... I haven't reached that point yet though. Nice job... "Keep going!" Lol 😉

Very nice 👍! One little pearl of wisdom I picked up: for every pound loss = 4 pounds of pressure off your spine! You go, girl! 👏

Too low calorie count equals body going into starvation mode. That’s my biggest downfall and I know it. Yesterday I ate almost 900 calories - most In Carbs which I’m not suppose to eat much of, but the scale still said I lost another pound! Today I will Eat more protein little carb and my goal is to eat 900 calories again. I need to loose 40 pounds. And it is a struggle. I’m battling diabetes 2

Consider tracking body fat percentage instead of weight. It works wondering in terms of giving a better picture than weight. You’d be surprised how much muscle can be put on while fat gets lost that ultimately makes it look like the scale hasn’t moved. Additionally, water retention varies considerably as well. Good luck 🍀
