Well, it's been a bumpy ride. I didn't succeed in raising my protein intake. I just couldn't get the grams up enough without eating too many calories for weight loss. So, I'm back to eating ketovore, and I've now lost the few pounds I gained on the experiment. I'll keep the protein high, but without exceeding my calorie deficit. I prefer real food to living on protein powder, egg whites and collagen. Meanwhile my calendar of steady drops is also gone down the drain. Maybe there will be a short fast in my near future. I'm going to a wedding on Saturday, so that will be a day to relax and enjoy some food and drink.
98.2 kg Lost so far: 28.8 kg.    Still to go: 7.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

We never know unless we try, right? Glad to hear the gain was temporary and you're back doing what has worked well for you. My modest goals for September are unmet as well, despite my efforts. Considering what tweaks to try next.
