Blood Pressure 114/76
Pulse 87
Blood Sugar 86

Wow! Good things are happening for me! This is the lowest fasting blood sugar I have seen since I started monitoring 6 months ago. I am ecstatic to see this, especially after the past couple of weeks of it being abnormally high when I was sick and stressed.

I have been working out as planned and with the help of some great folks on this site, I believe I have a weight lifting routine that is going to make a big difference. I added some new lifts and changed up my reps and weights for this week. Just about every part of my body is sore today, especially my legs and butt. It hurts to just sit! I just keep trying to remind myself that if I am sore after working out, then I had a good workout. Because I am so sore I was surprised to see a weight loss this week. I figured I would be retaining a lot of water with the muscle soreness. I am not going to question it. I’m just stoked about my success!

Everyone have a great day, never give up and fight for what you want!

I'm glad that your blood pressure and your blood sugar are not through the roof. My legs are a little sore too from yesterday's cardio - I'm going to get my lifting in today too.

Thank you all for your support! Yolanda, you keep it up as well! Chica, thanks for always being around to keep me motivated. Chad, it would have been nice of you to throw a warning out there for a brother. I had no idea that I may be incapacitated for a couple of days after my first time doing deads and squats. LOL Bill, I looked at your numbers this morning. Great work. Thanks Sara! From what I am told, sore is good. :)

I was afraid you wouldn't go as heavy as you should have. It's not the first time, it's every time. Better get used to it now. :d It usually takes me 4 or 5 days to recover fully from a heavy leg day.
