I finally hit the 170lb goal. I’m not a fan of the BMI chart, which says I’m still overweight. However, whether or not I “believe” in the BMI, I still don’t like the idea of anyone classifying me as overweight. So ultimately I’m going to have to lose another 11 lbs, down to 159lbs, which seems huge right now.

The question is: do I set a new goal of 159lb or do I set up a few of incremental goals, say 167, 163 then 159lbs. Weight loss is not just a physical challenge. It’s a mental one too.
77.1 kg Lost so far: 14.9 kg.    Still to go: 5.0 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I would just set your new goal at 159 and each week see how much you have left , it’s more motivating that way .

Congratulations! My suggestion is do what feels right for you. If you feel healthy at the weight you are at now....then that is terrific. 😊

Congratulations. I had the same thought about the BMI. What I decided to base my weight loss on was fat percentage which seems more logical to me.

Don't listen to BMI. based on mine they say I should weigh 85 pounds... You did amazing!! Just remember you worked hard to get here. Don't listen to the other crap.

Personally, I think smaller goals are more motivating. Why not set a goal to drop 3 more pounds, then celebrate the success before moving to the next goal?
