Draglist's Journal, 08 Nov 13

It's been a long time coming but hit a new low at 213.0. Purposely eating fewer calories during weekdays. Going to go to a Brazilian steakhouse tonight with Denise's visiting brother, so will begin a four day regular eating schedule. Monday is a holiday and our anniversary, so that makes the fourth day. Then it's back to fasting on Tuesday. Have a great weekend!

You often get a whoosh after you've been drinking but congrats on the new low. Try to be mindful tonight as you enjoy your family dinner. It's not about the food, it's about the company. I know, I know, likely too fem for a butch dude like you :) Just go easy because you will regret it if you are 'up' tomorrow. TGIF and have an awesome day. Hugs man, happy anniversary. :) I'm off Monday too - yahoo.

Yeah, blah, blah, blah. LOL! When those guys keep bringing around the amazing grilled meats, I will be enjoying each serving. But it's pretty easy to track as they only cut off 2-3 ounces of each. I go very light at the salad bar at first and I only have a taste of the sides. Will do a scotch or two and a glass of red wine. Maybe dessert. But that's why I ate 400-900 calories each day this past week... in preparation! Tomorrow will be breakfast and then very light eating until maybe hitting a diner on the way home. Sunday will be seafood on the docks in Annapolis. Monday maybe a cozy lunch with Denise at our favorite Italian place. Got it all mapped out... Won't see another new low or even close until this time next week. Thanks on the anniversary wishes and have a nice Monday off!

LOL - blah, blah, blah. I think that's what a lot of men think when women start talking: Yes you have a plan and it sounds good and you are aware that you likely won't see a drop until next week. It's all good. How many years married now?

It's 24 years now. Married on Veteran's Day in 1989 to allow our distant families an extra travel day back to Colorado (her) and Ohio (me). How much trouble will I be in if I agree wholeheartedly with your first statement? ;)

You wouldn't be in trouble with me because I hear you and I get it. We are very different emotional beings - men and women - and I think I am a rare woman that understands that. That's why FS is great for me because I have a lot of other blah, blah, blah women to blah, blah too :) How unusual to get married on Veteran's Day. Congrats on 24 years. Big one next year, can't wait to see what you pull out of your hat for that one ! (I am going on 33 years this December!)

Congrats on 33. That's great. We are pretty low key about it, but might do something next year. Denise wants to see Europe and I'd like to go back after seeing several dozen great places in my Navy days.

Hah! I love how you've gotten this all mapped out. Those Brazilian steakhouses are amazing. Always reminds me of an old GWB joke: "Aide: Mr. President, we've just received word that 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed in Iraq. We thought you should know.; GWB: Oh, that's terrible. Say, exactly how many is a bra-zillion anyway?" Have a GREAT TIME for your anniversary weekend. Enjoy! And still, congrats on the new low, that is fantastic!

Thanks, Rob! Good one. And now, I have to enter all the sad data. Spent a mint, but had a great time.
