Yesterday's one meal of the day (OMAD) was 3 cups of cooked spinach with fried eggs, 8 ounces of sautéed mushrooms, and 2 pieces of bacon. For the day I also had 2 HUGE iced coffees with lots of half n half to provide the fat that keeps me feeling full. 894 calories 65g fat, 30g carbs, 5g fiber, 50g protein

You inspired me to log my foods and see how my numbers are

Liv - logging is the #1 thing to keep me on plan. Today, I was debating on adding an entire avocado to my salad or having a protein shake after lunch. I opted for the shake because my protein for the day only would have been 45g - and I know I'd be hungry.

I logged and my protein was 120. It is fine I think my fat was a bit lower than usual. I am on an airfry kick and also eating ham for my main protein. I did have an entire smallish avocado. I add mine to my shake. It is one of my favourite meals

If I don't log every single bite, my weight creeps up on me. WTG Joelmel, yummy meal.

Liv - I have a weak spot for avocado with salt and pepper on it. If I ate bread, I'd probably be doing avocado toast but too many carbs and bread for me right now.

jo - logging does two things. Number one it keeps me honest. Number two it allows me to keep track of mine macros. I think the most important thing is that it keeps me honest.

Agreed Joelmel, my carbs are my main thing I track. It's taken years to come to this realization ... I am a carbohydrate addict.

Looks good... be careful with all the carbs in your iced coffees though... they eliminate the benefit of doing omad and prevent you from being in ketosis and. Turning fat for fuel, whi h is the whole point of omad.
