The digital scales I ordered should be here today.... hopefully measuring all my food will help me with my portion control. I really want to see 145 before fall. This dieting shit sucks....just feeling a bit down.
71.4 kg Lost so far: 6.6 kg.    Still to go: 5.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.
Gaining 3.2 kg a Week

It does keep you honest yet I’ve stopped measuring after losing 40 pounds that way with boring, bland diet and very low & self imposed RDI and immediately gaining it back plus some. Now I’m listening and let this app calculate RDI, so much better, i get to eat foods I like and enough so I don’t feel too deprived. I’m old so in a high risk category re Covid19 and think, if I get it and die, story to be told - she was struggling not to eat in her last days. That’s down. Anyway, all the best to you on your journey.

I know how you feel. Don’t let it get you down. Make it motivate you. You CAN do this!!! I watched other people diet and it seemed so easy for them and not me. It’s not true. It is difficult but when you get closer and closer I t will get better. Promise.

Personally I measure and weigh everything and it helps a lot.

It’ll get better! Once I ordered a food scale and started weighing my portions it was a major game changer! And then started seeing great results! The beauty is you can still eat whatever you want, just as long as you keep it under control! You got this!

Hang in there, Paige and keep your chin up. Good health is an ongoing journey and not a destination. It often has many turns. Just keep traveling down the road! Do whatever works for you - a scale sounds like a good idea. Good luck!

Paige, Yes it Sucks for awhile then you embrace it and it becomes your life style !!! I don't call it a diet, it is my WOE , you need to adjust your WOE to something you can live with !!!

When I first got my scale I was shocked at the difference it made in how much I ate! Mostly the protien! I was guessing how many ounces I ate and it was sooo wrong! I had been underestimating it.. Dieting can get discouraging but just keep your eyes on the prize, as they say. It will be worth it!!💜👍

We use grams instead of ounces and I've learned so much. I was also surprised to see how much salad dressing or salsa is in 2 tablespoons. I hope weighing and measuring is helpful for you.
