I'm counting yesterday as a successful day in my weight management 😊 First I got all kinds of praise from my cardiologist on my weight loss. He asked for details & I told him I got tired of being fat. Plus we discussed the benefits I'm seeing from the loss. I had a couple of episodes in 2006 & 2007 with irregular heart beat. I see the cardiologist to monitor things but, haven't had any issues in quite awhile.

I posted pics of some snacky stuff I bought to try. One way I manage my calories is making my afternoon "meal" a snack plate with an assortment of things like hummus, a bit of cheese, avacado, baby carrots, olives etc. I might add half a serving of crackers (5 or 6) so I'm always on the lookout for tasty options. I keep the total calorie count btween 200 to 300.

Yesterday, I didn't have any lunch unless you count the 70 calorie cappuccino I had after I got home. We got a new combo coffeemaker for Christmas so I got these to try. It hit the spot til dinner.

We ate dinner out & after a higher calorie day on Wed. I was trying to be "good". So I passed up the risotto or pasta option as a side with my chicken Picata and ordered mixed veggies. Hubby & I shared a bottle of wine and he got an order of tiramisu to go. We shared that at home.
My estimated calories did not go over my RDI.
67.3 kg Lost so far: 11.1 kg.    Still to go: 6.1 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I'm glad things went well at the doctor and you got validation for the work you are doing for your health. Good job on the night out (wish I could have some of the wine). :0)
