To celebrate, put Binky's plaid sweater on her and took her to the doggie park again. I counted it as walking 20 minutes as I did sit down for awhile.

SO: met calorie goal.
15 minutes light stretching.

Thanks for your kind words! Mbd121, usually the dietitian immediately talks to me (she handed it to me yesterday) when there is a problem. I will mention it to my nephrologist when she comes in. peeperjj, it's the doctor that took me off of the meds (TUMS) and the dietitian that was pushing a prescription binder. I'm just listening to my doctor, as most dialysis patients do have to take a binder. Honestly? I'm appalled to listen to so many patients that don't measure their daily potassium and phosphorus in their foods. I CAN eat no-no foods because I keep it SO under my daily limit and practice portion control (like nuts-actually suggested by my dietitian as a protein source, but strictly measured).

gsn fan, mac and cheese is a total portion control buster and it is ridiculous. It is a total comfort thing that brings me to a chaotic, happy time in my life...POOR, college student, 2-3 jobs, tons of friends and boyfriends. The other food is guacamole...almost always homemade...a family thing...love the taste and texture and it just is a super comfort food. Haven't touched either since starting dialysis...just not sure I can handle it. I can usually do okay with portion control. Okra is the bomb. It was one food my mother couldn't stand, so I had to go out to eat to have it!
