I feel like an emotional yo-yo. The diet reflects it. I've been able to compensate for my poor food choices with exercise but even then I have to drag myself to do it. I know it's depression and the doctor wants me back on meds but I do not want to be in a fog 24/7 so, I drag my lazy ass out of bed or away from the TV, even if it's just to do some planks off the kitchen sink. Thanks for letting me vent. Have a healthy day 🙋

I was reading an article about diets and mental health. It may not work for everyone but for some people, they were able to treat their depression by changing their diet. Here’s a similar article on it: https://www.healthline.com/health/best-diets-for-mental-health#3 ❤️❤️❤️ sending something extra loving vibes to you this morning❣️❣️❣️

Hang in there, you are on the right road. If you haven’t done so already, you might consider purging some of those potential poor food choices from your house and stay out of restaurants and fast food places. Try to find a pleasurable activity that can distract you for periods of time. Not an electronic activity or TV, but a creative activity or simple art/craft activity (holidays are coming). It has been shown over and over the negative effects of TV shows that we watch and the news programs that are on constantly and the positive effects of the creative process.

Thanks, I'll look into both suggestions. I kept busy today with cleaning and working out. Dumped out all my alcohol after a bitsy nip😱. Snacks in the house are for Mom & Hubby. I made almond flour muffins & I have apples, that's it. We'll see how it goes😘🙋

I say it’s awesome that you are realizing this. Accepting and recognition of the issue is the first step. Now you have to think of ways to tackle this. U don’t want meds. you must figure out a healthy alternative, for you own good.
