I had a friend that did this surgery too. Slow and steady in those first few weeks! 😇

Taking my vitamins and heartburn meds but all my other normal meds are a no-go right now. I'm throwing them up if I take them...even in 2's and 3's. My stomach can't seem to handle it. Docs aren't happy but they've gotten a taste of what happens when I try so...I have permission to do what I can and just keep checking in with them. Super weak right now and barely sleeping. I'm not really losing though either which has them concerned. I'm eating about a thousand calories a day...I should be losing but I'm not. I can't increase the calories because of the limited things I can eat and I can't decrease the calories without feeling like I'm starving. Ugh! I'm trying to get back to logging everything but I just feel so gross and all I'm eating most days is mashed potatoes and bananas. I had some tuna today and didn't throw it up though so...hopefully I can eat that now too.
