That’s not a bad gain at all! I’m sure a lot of it is water so you’ll lose it quickly!

Unless you have a medical problem like diabetes, partaking in the Hollidays foods is a real part of life. That’s where you make good choices most of the time, healthier choices when you can and poor choices once in a while. Then you just move on.

Kenna is so right!and I agree with Peepers too. It’s healthy to participate in our traditional family memories, and it will come off quickly if you return to your way of eating.

And I agree with Anna. 1 pound gain is definitely success

Agreed. Personally, I think if you can hold the line to maintain or are up 1 or 2 pounds over the holidays, that is frigging awesome.

Agree and agree. Only one pound over the holidays is totally a victory. It's not a sustainable way of eating if you can't enjoy yourself with friends and family sometimes, especially during the holidays. Cheers to you!!!

One pound is a miracle. On average most people gain 5-10 during the holidays! You’re doing great!

I don’t really know anyone who gains 5-10 lb. hopefully that is a stretch., but even if people can do maintenance level and keep the gain to under 5 that is a win. I know a couple nights of eating the fudge I made could throw anyone over the top.
