ok, yesterday was a 'free' day. I put in a long journal entry but it got lost in cyberspace! I did well, kind of tempted ALOT since I went to the grocery store yesterday evening. BUT I was good. Got food for a 3 day stall breaker that I saw here on FS. I'm starting this today for 3 days. I'm modifying it just a bit since when I was looking up the 16/8 plan I saw some tips in it I like (like organic apple cider vinegar) Anyway, I'm glad I did not fall to temptation at the store, since when I got home and was making my dinner I kept thinking about how nice it would be to have a glass (or 2 or 3) of wine and then also, some fresh bread, then nuts for snacking, etc etc. Well I didn't buy any of that stuff SOOOOO I kept it "True to ME". Wow, this is tough. I also was listening to some Netflix shows that someone suggested here about eating I was taking notes. Of course we all really know how to eat right for our bodies and what is junk. But really keeping it in my daily conscious is what is difficult. Especially when the not good stuff for me, tastes so darn good! It is amazing, one show was comparing sugar with cocaine, I don't want to say that I totally agree, since a drug addiction is horrible BUT sugar for me is very addictive and I keep wanting MORE. Also it went on to talk about some processed food industries and how they manipulate food with chemicals which WILL make you wanting more, and how our bodies react to it. I am going to try to clean up my act/body and do things that are good for me, not things that just give an instant gratification and then disappear (except on my thighs!).
