The website VERYWELLFIT.COM has some great articles on the benefits of participating in a LOWER carb diet. Some simple explanation of why it works and the potential pitfalls. I think it is very helpful for people to do a little research on the subject so they really understand what it is about. There are real benefits. In this country we eat huge amounts of unhealthy refined carbs. Lower carb to me means about 150 carbs a day. Good fats, and protein from some meat, more fish, chicken and vegetables that contain protein, and legumes. What I see many people doing here is not sustainable in the long haul. moderation, consistency and still being able to enjoy food is very important. Again, I am.
