Woke at 216.4, up 3.0 from yesterday. The significant note here is that I ran out of Lasix, so I am not on my standard weekend diuretic. I could tell that I was not 'going' as much as usual yesterday. Net carbs were high at 34, too, but that's the result of eating a lot of veggies. I did have a waking blood ketone reading of 2.3 today -- my new highest ever (after yesterday's 2.2). So although I went over on carbs, I'm keeping protein (and overall calories) low and I'm achieving ketone readings I've never achieved before. One more day of 800 calories, one day of transition, and then we are back on keto as of Wednesday. UPDATE: Ate a 350 calorie salad for lunch and drank nothing but water all day. Plus, I walked 3.3 miles. Came home and weighed -- 217.6! What? On the other hand, I still don’t have my Lasix so I'm keeping extra water around. Hit very close to my 800 calorie target today but I did have extra carbs with the salad and veggies. Tomorrow I get to eat 2146 calories and presumably will start to generate some new stem cells and do some internal building. I will return to full on keto the next day. I'll enjoy 2146 calorie days for three days and then will do a water fast on Friday. Then I will repeat that every week for the rest of February.
