Woke at 214.4, down 2.8 after day two of the Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD). Blood ketones were 1.6 millimolar, so in a nice state of ketosis, too. Targeting 800 calories today. I will adjust calories on my first non-FMD day this week. Not going to cut each day even if I go over a bit in previous FMD days (which I have). Big day for us as my daughter Emily is moving back to the DC area from Chicago. She has been named the executive director of the DC office of the Human Rights Campaign. She will live with us for as long as it takes to get an apartment set up downtown. She stayed at my sister Judy's house in Ohio last night and will arrive sometime today. We are very excited to have her back but proud of how she ventured off to Chicago a few years ago. Here is a pic of Denise and Em. Have a great weekend, everyone! UPDATE: Did OK on FMD day three. Em got home at about 10 pm. Before that, I cleaned out the garage for her to put her stuff from her apartment and got in two miles doing it! Hit my calorie goals. Weighed 214.2 before bedtime and body fat went down .4 pounds. Tomorrow we will unload the U-Haul and chill a little bit and then all four family members are back to work bright and early on Monday!
