Lifestyle change, not a diet. Measure everything. I keep thinking I need a new scale to weigh myself, and another to weigh what I eat - these are excuses that I have used to eat too much every day.

Thank goodness I have been contradancing 4 or 5 nights a week! So, combined with organizing what I eat, I am off to meet my goals.

Goal this week: arrange my meals for the week, one day at a time. My daughter is home and bought a lot of fresh produce that we have to eat, so I have a basis.

Greetings - I just got a new scale, EatSmart brand, that is very accurate and consistent. I never have liked the scale - but this one is a motivator because it is truthful and registers well. Good luck!

Like how you've been managing your weight, girl!!! Really is a mental thing, not a deprivation thing, isn't it? Enough is sufficient. Not needing the food and transferring that addiction to finding joy in other things in life. Congrats on your dancing - sounds like a good time! Enjoy your fresh, home cooked meals. ;-)
