Can I just go back to bed and curl up in a ball?

Arrgghh....I hate Lady Times. Especially when they creep up on you when you least expect them!!! Last night really took me by surprise.
How much longer will they go on? They have been irratic, unpredictable, heavy and painful for at least the last 5 years now. Today I am all cramped up and bloated :(. SO I certainly won't weigh for the next few days til this is over.

On a lighter note: I followed my plan yesterday :). Did 1/2 hour yoga (me time), walked the dogs, picked raspberries and cucumbers, cooked a huge pot of lentil stew and exercised for 50 intense minutes with James last night. I only had a very small whiskey with lots of water in it. Not perfect but a win in my books. Looking at my honest entry, my calories were very low : 1381. Can't remember the last time I ate so little. The only thing: I am not sure about the lentil stew. Mine was homecooked with a minimal amount of oil to fry the onions, carrots, celery, courgettes, red pepper, potato. Added a tin of tomatoes, a cup of soaked green lentils and lots and lots of spices. It still needed something and only when I added a generous amount of tumeric did I get the taste I was after :)

Happy Days (painkillers have finally kicked in) :)

Why not go back to bed and curl up in a ball? I'm not sure how old you are now (50ish?) but they should soon stop altogether. Your lentil stew sounds lovely. Have a good day!

Yup 51 1/2 :) It was tempting at 6am this morning. But now as the days go on, I am feeling better moving around :)

I had my womb nuked so don't have that problem any longer. I'd recommend it 100 times over if you're having problems; or drugs, lots and lots of drugs! I always want to make delicious things like your lentil stew but I'm so tired by the time I'm home from work and have gone to the gym or walked from the car (I am SO lazy) I never do and slink off to make a salad. Sounds delicious, hope you enjoy it.

For what it's worth - mine used to be that way, (intense pain for most of my life, but also now the more erratic patterns), and what has COMPLETELY turned it around was using OTC progesterone cream. I've been using them since I turned...eh, 46 or so? These past years, I have nowhere near as much pain, predictable as clockwork and nowhere near as invasive. I hope that's helpful in some way.
