I've seen packaged hard boiled eggs in the UK and think "why?" Still, if I were away from a kitchen for a prolonged period I might buy them. We get through a dozen eggs a week, I boil about 8 on a Sunday and we peel them as we need them and they last in the fridge (not if you peel them in advance though - the membrane must help keep them sterile). The rest are used as binders or scrambled to go in bacon sarnies for the OH. I hope you're keeping well, Bill 👍🏻

I know my ex just buys pre hard boiled at the market like this. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It's a convenience thing. I would rather buy 5 dozen eggs and boil 18, he would rather pay to have it done for him.
