Steven Lloyd's Journal, 20 Nov 16

I'm just heading to bed before a big ski day tomorrow (Sunday, day two of season for me).

Skiing Sunshine Village again near Banff, Alberta, Canada. They just opened some extreme terrain "Delirium Dive"....google it if you're interested.

It's the closest thing to backcountry skiing they have, super steep, tricky and you need a buddy, avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe to get past the gate entrance at the top of the mountain...if I take a few pics and they turn out I might post them.

Take care all and hope you too have an awesome week ahead!!
Steven

PS: with thnx to a FS buddy to motivate me to post this.

Thanks all. No worries, made it back in one piece but still pretty sore from trashing the leg muscles (needed to build strength & stamina). Fun day, long though, 4:30am till just getting ready to hit the hay now at midnight.

I had no idea GPS could track things vertically. How fun that you can relive the day through the data. 54 mph on skis sounds so amazingly exhilarating!
