It's been 4 days since my surgery. It's been tough, I didn't realize how invasive the surgery is. At least I'm allowed to shower now. My diet has been off and I'm still swollen so my weight is way up. Doc says it may take another week for the full effects of the anesthesia to wear off. Also it may be 3-4 weeks before I'm off restrictions. For now I'm going to focus on healing and listen to what my body is telling me. I'll get my eating back on track soon enough.

Glad to hear the surgery is behind you. Take care, don't overdo things, rest when you feel tired, and eat healthily. You may well find that you will lose weight as your body heals itself.
