facing reality goooooood mornin everyone....yes its the weeee hours of the morning....i woke up to do no.1 and then couldnt go back to sleep...started thinkin about my weight gain and how its affected my thinking of what i want to accomplish here again...when im loosing, im more focused..and i kno its all part of the process..when i gain...its a let down an i have to work thru that..this being my first gain..its weighing on me..i did a 16 hour fast yesterday and then i ate salads in a 2 hour window an went back into a fast again..i kno i have to get back into keto as guick as i can...i think the salt i had is still playin a part in all this..my body seems to be like a big sponge that doesnt want to let go of it all..but i also know that like anything that one desires to accomplish you just have to get up dust yourself off an get back at it..its a learning process that you learn new things everyday..im hoping by the time i get back up later an weigh in i can show a loss and if not..then thats reality an i just havent gotten all the salt and carbs outta my system...just have to get back in the swing of things an back into my routine..as i write im 12 hours into my next fast and by the time i get up i should be hitting 17 at which time i will make a choice of continueing or stoppin to get my food in and then back to IF as that seems to work for me...have started doing a 16:8..that seems to work better for me...im usually up around 4am and by noon im done eating for the day...well enough babblin..im headed back to bed..wanted to journal my thoughts..catch you later this morning...

update i wrote that at 1am..its now 5am an i just stepped on the scales an was jumpin up an down..well not really but was happy to see the scales are evened out once again..so heres hoping that the salt has worked out an im back in keto once again..

WBH it's an ebb and flow you just have to stay focused and keep trying :). One of the ways I remind myself of my goals is....I have a picture of me when I looked my best....age 17 in a bikini top and jeans riding my horse. It's stuck to my refrigerator door. It reminds me of my goals when I open the refrigerator. Now I know I will never be that tight and smooth again, however I remember how I felt then and that is what I am aiming for, feeling better being healthy. When I started I was so freakin tired of being sick and tired. So far it's been a 180 turn for the better, still have 180 to go for a full 360 turn around. You can do this!

i appreciate your support deb..i have a pic of what i looked like when i was at my highest in 2006 that i carry just as a reminder of where i have came from..one day at a time becomes a healthier you and me...

ty glen and sassy..as for the sleepless nights, i dont have very many of em just from time to time..an really its usually when i wake up an go to bathroom an i start thinkin about the next mornings journal..lol..and what i want to journal in it.
