Woke at 222.0, down 3.4 from yesterday. First recovery day went well! That's likely my low for the day as we have dinner and a play out tonight and I won't get to weigh in until about 11 pm, after dinner. UPDATE: Ate very light during the day in anticipation of eating at the Kennedy Center Terrace Restaurant. Outstanding as always. Saw the play "Matilda." Very cute with some amazing child performers. Finished at 1932 calories, which was not bad considering 500 calories were alcohol and I had a few pieces of bread and even a nice dessert. Back on track tomorrow.

I love plays!!! You are fortunate to be near The Kennedy Center!! I have that book, "Younger Next Year for Women" and have not gotten through the whole thing yet. I think this is the year I read it all the way through. Glad the weight is dropping back off, Bill. I remember last year. you and I were in the low 200's. We goofed up (or goofed off) didn't we? Ha Ha!

Hmmmmm! Yes let me know. I know my gain is from eating anything I wanted. (Bread, cake, desserts, pies ... pasta). I just can't eat those higher carb foods.

I'm not sure how to even figure calorie burn since there is no way to track everything I do. I just figure if my chosen calorie amount is keeping me at a steady weight it is good for me, if not I would adjust it. Not very scientific but it works for me. Just like I never figured out those macros everyone talks about.
