Nice!!! Random question—I know I’m obsessed with weather, but that’s because I live in a location where you never get used to the rapid changes all the time…Midwest and weather talk go hand in hand. But…how hot will it get in the South? (Exactly, I mean…because I’m a nerd too). Will you still spend hours and hours outdoors, or just half an hour to one hour if it’s that hot? 

*And I’ve never seen Jane Eyre. I hope your food was good too! 

Laine, here in Houston the hottest temperature was 109°F in August; the average temperature for August was 91°F. When I was younger, I used to play tennis in the morning or late afternoon in summer, but avoided being outdoors in the hottest part of the day. Now I sit on my patio in early morning or late afternoon and avoid the sun entirely. 

I bet it wasn’t “feels like 91” on average in August…😂if it were, not too bad, but I bet that wasn’t the “feels like” lol, to say the least…in Texas. Shirfleur, I admire your fruit intake! I was very good about fruit today, even if everything else I ate wasn’t ideal to say the least. Did you always like fruit a lot? Have a wonderful Thursday. 

Laine, high humidity in Houston definitely makes it feel hotter than what the thermometer reads. As for fruit, yes, fruit has always been an important part of my diet, and I am very fortunate to live in an area where a wide variety is available to me.
