Went for assessment at the gym, they can help me if I pay of course. The classes should cover what I need but maybe I will do the 4 week jumpstart class. Although for the same amount of money I could get a membership and training for 10 weeks at a gym a little farther away.

Read your Yelp reviews and decide based on that. Also play their offers off one another to get best value.

Meet your would be trainers first. If you don’t vibe, it doesn’t matter how many or few or distance, you won’t get the max benefit.
All trainers are different and ask the hard questions. Do you have clients like me, progression pics or stats. What is your expectations of ME?

If you are new, get the trainer for a month and see how it goes.

If you are on Medicare they pay for gyms.

I was going to recommend Silver Sneakers thru medicare, too. They cover membership, so you only have to pay for the trainer.

I have an insurance plan that does not include gym membership.

I have Silver Sneakers with my Medicare supplement plan, but the gym closest to me doesn't accept it because it doesn't pay enough. I'd have to go to a gym 30 minutes away to use Silver Sneakers
