Woke at 212.2 again and headed out to the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing in Pennsylvania for their holiday open house. Just got back. Six hours of driving (3 up and 3 back) and I am ready for a workout! The traffic was crazy out there! Had a great time. I was on a discussion panel with several pro racers and two other announcers. It was a lot of fun and we had a good crowd. I purchased a memorial brick that will have my name and my late brother Tim's name on it to show support for the motor racing museum. This place was one of the last places we visited together before he passed away in May and everyone was asking about him. It was a very nice day among friends. Came in the door at 213.8, so I need to work some of that off! UPDATE: Finished 60 minutes of HIIT treadmill and got a 210.8 weigh in. My BPM was fine tonight and did not hit 175 until the 29th minute. I think I may have this figured out... I ate some carbs today where I recently have severely restricting them. Could it be that the heart rate issue was my body working too hard converting fat without enough glycogen for the workout? Perhaps. Tonight with about 1500 calories eaten today, I didn't deplete the glycogen and start the higher heart rates until halfway through. Will continue to investigate...
